The album was recorded and mixed at The Priory studio in Roger's house from November 2007 to August 2008. Official release date: 15 September 2008.
This album is dedicated to Freddie Mercury. After the successful 2005 Queen plus Paul Rodgers tour the trio decided to go into a studio and record new material. The album has been issued in different formats: CD, Special Edition CD & DVD, Tour Edition and 2-vinyl set in UK; CD in Eastern Europe, CD, Special Edition CD & DVD, 2-vinyl set, Collectors Edition in US; CD and 2 CD set in JP. There also have been issued some promos in US: advance CD, album special and interview disc. There is also a US press release.
"C-lebrity" has been chosen as the first single. The single to "Say It's Not True" does not count as the album's single, although the version is exactly the same - this single is a charity one. "C-lebrity" has been issued in two formats: 5" CD and 7" vinyl in UK and 5" CD with different track listing in Germany. There is also a CD promo of the single. Official release date: 8 September 2008.
