Queen drummer Roger Taylor was among the star-studded guests and performers who attended The Royal Variety Performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

The musician was part of a special segment celebrating the 40th anniversary of the iconic charity event Live Aid. He was featured in the ensemble introducing a performance from the Live Aid musical, Just One Day, alongside figures like Sir Bob Geldof, Midge Ure, and Gary Kemp.

“Radio Ga Ga” – Queen song

“I’m Still Standing” – Elton John song

“Do They Know It’s Christmas?” – Band Aid song

“Just For One Day” – The Live Aid musical

The evening was held in the presence of Their Royal Highnesses The Prince and Princess of Wales.

This year’s performance, hosted by Jason Manford, also featured acts such as Katherine Jenkins, Jessie J, Madness, and a grand finale celebrating the 40th anniversary of Les Misérables.

This year’s Royal Variety Performance is to be broadcast on ITV on Sunday 21 December 2025.
