The Cross demos
I Can’t Get You Out Of My Head (unreleased 1988/9)
The Cross demo recorded during Jam Studio sessions between Shove It and Mad: Bad: and Dangerous to Know. Rumoured to be the unreleased 1984 song (some say it is available on the Strange Frontier acetate). BUT Clayton Moss claimed it came from The Cross sessions.
First appeared on the Clayton Moss The Cross Section album in 2009, later released on the Roger Taylor The Lot box on The Cross singles CD (2013).
Celebration (unreleased 1988/9)
Recorded during Jam Studio sessions between Shove It and Mad: Bad: and Dangerous to Know. This one was said to be unreleased 1984 song but to me it sounded like The Cross and it is in fact The Cross song. A beautiful song, and a pathetic one!
First time released on the Roger Taylor The Lot box set on The Cross singles CD as an abridged version (2013).
I Can Take You Higher (extract demo + full demo, unreleased 1988/9)
A very short piece, extract demo comes from Jam Studio sessions taking place between Shove It and Mad: Bad: and Dangerous to Know sessions. This was rumoured to be coming from the Strange Frontier sessions but it is in fact The Cross demo. Before it had been available officially, it was shared as a short 40 seconds extract demo of the title I Can Take You.
