Roger Taylor has released “I See You Now”, the second single from his forthcoming solo album Violence Insane In A Beautiful World, due for release on 18 September 2026 via Columbia Records.
The song takes a deeply personal and intimate direction. Taylor describes “I See You Now” as a love song written about his wife, Sarina, reflecting on their long relationship and the deeper understanding that comes with spending many years together.
The release is accompanied by an elegant black-and-white music video created by Sarina Taylor and long-time Queen collaborator Simon Lupton. The monochrome visuals are strikingly contrasted by Roger’s distinctive ruby-red trainers.
“I See You Now” follows “Come On Summer (It’s Party Time)”, which featured the Ndlovu Youth Choir, and is the latest preview of Roger Taylor’s seventh solo album. Violence Insane In A Beautiful World will be his first studio album since 2021’s Outsider.
Taylor will also support the new album with a series of UK shows in September, beginning in Newcastle on 21 September and including dates in Edinburgh, Birmingham, Manchester, London and Swansea.
Roger says, “It’s a love song; it’s really about my wife. We’ve been together for quite some time, and I think when you really get to know someone, at first you really don’t see everything about them, but when you really get to know someone, it’s ‘oh, I see you now, that’s it.”
